In a project inspired by the TV series “Billions” we recreated the show’s distinctive atmosphere. This involved a three-phase production process — pre-production, production and post-production — each tailored to capture the essence and quality of the original series. Pre-production focused on scriptwriting, casting, and leveraging cutting-edge deepfake technology for actor auditions. Rigorous storyboarding and location scouting ensured settings that reflect the series’ environments, with detailed planning for props and schedules to optimize resources. Production involved meticulous styling of actors to mirror the series’ characters, equipping locations with high-quality filming gear, and extensive rehearsals. The filming process also included creating cleanplates for seamless visual effects integration. Post-production refined the visual and audio narrative. Sophisticated VFX, including background replacements to mimic Manhattan’s luxurious settings, were crucial. Sound design was enhanced with custom voice dubbing by Yulia Cherkasova and Ivan Kalinin and enriched with neurosound technology in English. Advanced color correction and deepfake compositing polished the final visuals.
